Poetry × Production
Poetry forged under pressure, set to sound. A collaboration between a writer who turns survival into verse and a producer who gives it a pulse.
From "Not Sinking Today"
“When the darkness hits, it doesn't tap gently — it crashes in like a storm swallowing a lone sailboat in the middle of a raging ocean. And though I can't see the sun through the chaos, though the light takes its time returning, I know it exists. I'm still here. I'm not sinking today.
Written by Antonio Santana · Obsidian, Track / Poem in Progress
The Collaboration
Antonio writes it. Alex builds it. What starts as a page of poetry becomes melody, rhythm, and atmosphere — every line given a heartbeat.
Obsidian is more than a working relationship. It's a shared belief that the hardest things people carry — service, struggle, love, legacy — deserve to be heard, not just read.
I'm still here.|
The Artists
Antonio Santana is a Marine Corps veteran and former police officer whose poetry is forged in the space between what he's carried and what he's chosen to become. Writing began as a way to process what words rarely reach — service, struggle, and the daily decision to keep going when everything says otherwise.
A husband and father, Antonio writes with his family as both anchor and audience — every poem shaped by the belief that vulnerability is its own kind of strength. Where Alex builds the sound, Antonio brings the words — raw, lived-in, and unflinching.
Driven by a passion for creating unforgettable tracks, Alex Macias is an up-and-coming music producer from San Antonio, Texas, known for blending infectious melodies, hard-hitting drums, and modern production with timeless musical influences.
Drawing from hip-hop, R&B, pop, and cinematic soundscapes, Alex takes Antonio's words and breathes life into them — building melodies, rhythms, and soundscapes that amplify every message.
